About Us

Company History

Founded in 2005, the One Associated software and business model was developed as a result of the founders' experience in software development, retail management, wholesale and distribution, and marketing. The founders began developing a solution that would enable retailers and vendors to work together in a way that would foster growth for both parties. They studied a number of different successful retail organizations, and became familiar with supply chain issues facing vendors in today's market. The business model was then outlined, and software was developed to support it.

Upon the completion of the software development, the four partners opened a toy/book/candy store that operated completely on the OA$IS system. The system worked flawlessly and vendors who worked with One Associated were very pleased with the system. OA is now focusing its energies on expanding the model into industries that would benefit from using the system. OA will continue to expand its POS support by programming to operate with a number of popular POS systems.

Our Team

David Card, Chairman and CEO
David has a vast amount of experience assisting early stage and distressed companies achieve profitability. He is the founder and former CEO of the 2nd, 9th, 17th, and 21st fastest growing company in the State of Utah. Some of his experience includes:

Founder and Managing Director of United Business Partners, LLP - An international company located in Singapore that specializes in putting together partnerships, products and funding between Asia and the US.
Former VP of 2 multi-national nutritional distribution companies. Lived in Asia and helped grow markets over 500% in two years.
Founder and CEO of Future Foods - developed and distributed dried foods, soup blends and long term storage foods throughout the US.
Global Pure - developed a water filtration/purification system for residential and non-potable water.
Consultant to numerous startup companies providing assistance in business plan development, early stage funding and management direction.
David has a BS from Brigham Young University and a MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix and has also been a licensed stock broker and foreign currency trader.

Ryan Bott, Director and COO
Ryan has an educational background in business management and marketing from Utah Valley University. He has additional training in sales and marketing from Life Works International, a professional sales and marketing coaching company. Ryan has marketed a variety of products and services. He has served as the Director of Operations for a publishing company, Millennial Press & Distribution, for the past six and a half years. Ryan has served as the Vice-President of Operations of One Associated for the past four and a half years prior to taking on the role of President. His proficiency includes strategic planning, business development, product management and market research, management, and networking with other businesses.

Liquid Assets C2C Inc. (Concept to customer) - an invention and marketing company.
Associated Autonomics Inc. - a company which designed and marketed a 6-freedom robotics machine.
Store-a-light company - an innovative way of storing holiday lights.

Patrick S. Morrow, Director and CIO
Pat joined One Associated in 2006, as Director of Engineering and oversees the design, development, and deployment of the OA$IS inventory management system. Previously he was a Senior Software Engineer at Intel, Avocent, LANDesk Software, and IBM. He has taught computer science at Utah Valley State College (now Utah Valley University) and Stevens Henager College. He has also served on the Advisory Board for Stevens Henager College. His work experience has focused on using technology to provide user centered solutions to simplify business and computing processes. He enjoys researching new technologies and finding ways that they can be applied to provide solutions. He has a bachelor's degree in computer science with an emphasis on networking from Utah Valley University.

Randy Bott, Director
Randy holds bachelor and master's degrees from Utah State University and a doctor's degree from Brigham Young University. He is currently a full professor at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He is also a Fellow at the University of Buckingham in Buckingham, England. He has published many books and articles.

Randy was the founder, owner, and CEO of Century Surveyors - licensed in Utah and Idaho.

Co-founder and CEO of Avilex Inc. - software company developing acoustical procedures for mathematically manipulating sound frequencies.
Part Owner and CEO of The Greeting Game - an interactive music/video corporation.
